Lipstick-less days

Its a rare occasion to catch me taking photo's without being fully equipped with red lippy, It wasn't until I looked back at my photos that I realized I completely forgot to lippy myself up. So my face looks slightly odd.

Whenever I forget to wear my lipstick I often get people look at me with a concerned face and ask "are you okay, you look unwell". It's lovely to know that I look like I'm on deaths door with regular colored lips.

Another holiday outfit and surprisingly the bulk of the outfit came from the dreaded shop that is Primark... yep. Not that I am slating the shop (which I am a bit) but we all know the quality of clothing is a complete and utter shambles and you have to shop most of the departments off the floor which is where most of the clothes end up. But we went to Primark in a desperate search for cheap clothes to fill out our hollibob suitcases and I have to say, I was not disappointed when I created this ensemble.

What I Am Wearing
Denim Bralet - Primark - £12
Floral Skirt - Primark - £9
Belt (multipack) - Primark - £2
Studded Jelly Shoes - New Look - £12.99
Peace Studded Bag - New Look - £9.99?
Sunglasses - H&M - Stolen From Sophie - ???

I absolutely love these jelly shoes from New Look! Its set me off on a new fetish of owning my own pair of old fashioned jelly shoes, you know the ones that we used to wear when we were children? I am definitely going to be the owner of a pair of Children's jelly shoes shortly! Its a good job I'm only a size 3 shoe ay?

I don't believe I've told you all that I now have my nose pierced! I had it done ages ago but haven't  even blogged about it yet (bad blogger alert) I can't wait to get all my holiday outfits out the way so I can show you that I am back to my ginger ways! wahey!

Until next time my lovely's!

I'm a (ship)wreck

Hey guys! I have managed to find some time to write another blog so I am taking full advantage! I have a lot more photos to show you from my holiday in Zante! It's quite funny that you hear 'Zante' and think "oooh Mad clubbing holiday" when in fact I probably drank more tea than alcoholic beverages. Living the dream.

This day as I recall we decided to have a little day trip out! We got a little lost and took a detour and a place that was meant to take us 30 minutes to get to took us over an hour! But I did enjoy the pretty views!

We went on a boat trip to a beach called Navagio Beach, also known as smugglers cove or shipwreck beach! The beach was lovely, Although it was a pebble beach and absolutely killed my feet, the sea was bright blue and completely see through! me and Sophie just had to go and swim out in it!

On the beach itself there was a giant shipwreck, hence the name shipwreck beach I guess (no shit) it wasn't until the day after we discovered you could actually go inside it and explore (gutted)

anyway, enough gabbling on about beaches and more about clothes!

I brought this bloody beautiful floral frock from Primark believe it or not! I am a massive sucker for an all over flowery dress and this just fit the bill perfectly for my sunny week away!

The hat was a bargain purchase last summer from New Look in the sale, I'm pretty sure it was a daft price like £4 so I snapped that bad boy up sharpish! It is possibly the best hat in the world as it goes with absolutely everything!

The Stranger

I'm guessing many of you will be thinking "who the hell are you" when you see a blog post pop up from yours truly. Yeah, It's been a bloody good while and I don't necessarily have any reasonable explanation as to why it was been so long, but I'm sure you will all forgive me right?

Anyway! I have been on holiday and have recently come back! Whilst I was there it became part of my routine to take photos of my daily outfits so I'm pleased to announce I have plenty'o'blogs to be getting on with!

Oh yea did I mention I stripped my hair color and am now an all natural brunette gal! don't get too upset by my normal looking hair, I'm dying it ginger tonight ;)

I HAVE MISSED BLOGGING! SPEAK TO YOU ALL SOON!

Broody for Brooches

I went to Weymouth, Okay it was a while ago but I am absolute rubbish at blogging lately, sincere apologies, and I promise along with better weather you will be receiving even better blogs.

Anyway, We decided to take a trip down to Dorchester after discovering on Google that there was a vintage shop there. After finding out, I was there.

It took us a while to find it, even though it was quite central in the town unlike other vintage shops that are usually tucked away in the deepest darkest alleys!

Although the clothing was beautiful! It was a bit over priced for my under £10 budget (I'm a cheap skate). brilliant. But I did discover a cushion which was all over covered in brooches. I cannot even begin to explain how exited I got over a pillow of brooches. You just had to see it with your own eyes, and after closer inspection I notices that the most expensive one on there cost a mere £2. Definitely Tanya price range!

I have only had one brooch in the past which I am in utter love with, and since getting it I have been forever saying I was going to build up a personal collection, and this collection has officially started. I brought 4 absolutely stunning brooches for £5!!!! ARGH! I now have 5 brooches in my mini collection which I can assure you, will carry on growing.

Cameo Brooch-£1
Silver & Peal Brooch-£2
Green Stone Brooch-£1
Gold & Pearl Brooch-£1

If ever you are in Dorchester I suggest you pop by Custard Hall Vintage!

Looking for any reason to wear a new brooch I opted for a plain shirt, just to show my new brooch off to its full potential...

I think this is probably quite a tame outfit for myself. Despite this, a group of quite young girls sat across from me when me and Alex took my nieces out to the Wacky Warehouse and did nothing but stare at me, whisper and giggle. Part of me wanted to give them a tiny slap, another part of me wanted to stick my middle finger up to them, and another part of me felt like I was a child being bullied in school. Instead I sat there, Stared back and smiled like an idiot. Children are quite mean.

Much Love!

House Of Harrie Hattie

On a extremely cold and windy morning me and my sister woke up bright and early to have a photo shoot for the lovely company that is House Of Harrie Hattie.

For anybody that hasn't heard or seen anything from the beautiful company, well smack yourself on the wrist and take a look at her Facebook page! NOW! (click the logo above)

The Owner of the company is also the creator of the beautiful mini cocktail hats and spends her spare time hand crafting the lovely little things using Harris Tweed, Vintage fabrics, Natural feathers and vintage gems, all in all making some very beautiful and unique hats!

If you are an avid vintage fair goer in the midlands area then keep your eye out! you may well see her stand set up at the next one you go to! and if you do I suggest you go over and have a nosy and a chat! she is one of the single most lovely people I have ever met and is definitely worth being on your friends list!

So next time your going to a wedding, party, or even just fancy jazzing up an outfit then get yourself one of these babies!
